Born in Aomori Prefecture, based in Tokyo. Takayuki moved to Tokyo after graduating from a university in Miyagi Prefecture. He changed professions from a comedian (sketch comedy trio) to working at a household equipment manufacturing company. Takayuki decided to become a photographer after the Great East Japan Earthquake. He is currently part of creative unit 'Tokyo Alps' which aims to create a new municipality using the rooftops of Tokyo: 'The Rooftop Ward.' Tokyo Alps has been chosen to participate in Tokyo Biennale 2020/2021.
